Hello, I'm Phoebe, and these days, describing myself with just one word feels impossible. As a Korean illustrator and entrepreneur, I have a diverse range of talents and passions that shape my professional journey.  I have been drawing for as long as I can remember -- even as a child, creating characters and developing little stories around them.

In the realm of art, my expertise lies in capturing the intricacies of human bodies and faces, from children to seniors. With a keen eye for warm and vibrant color combinations, I infuse my illustrations with a sense of fun and happiness. Whether I'm working with watercolors or employing hand-drawn techniques, I bring a unique touch to each piece.  Nature is often the source of my inspiration.

My first book was about a little mouse that lives in a rabbit village.  It was inspired by my own experiences as a South Korean living in the United Kingdom. Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am the proud owner of a business specializing in locally made kimchi. Sharing the flavors and traditions of my Korean heritage brings me great joy. The combination of my artistic skills and entrepreneurial spirit allows me to explore and excel in multiple realms.

Additionally, I am an avid surfer and traveler, constantly seeking new adventures and inspiration. I also enjoy sharing knowledge and telling stories, engaging people through my quirky visual images and captivating conversations. I live with my husband and a guide dog puppy named Talbot.

I have many published works to my name, as you'll see on my website External link opens in new tab or windowPhoebeFairyTale.com.  I'm always eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations that appreciate the power of visual storytelling and the rich cultural experiences that my diverse background brings. Let's connect and explore opportunities to collaborate and create something extraordinary together!
